In March 2026, we had two consecutive club meetings where Derek Muller introduced us to the techniques of Fine Art Photography, as introduced by this YouTube video by Martin Osner:

We spent the first evening taking studio shots of various objects (flowers, toys, statuettes, ornaments, etc…) against a white background. The shots were assembled at home and printed, and on the second evening we had a go at embellishing the prints with pencils, markers, watercolour or acrylic paints. Derek also brought a texturizing agent called “mod podge” for us to try. This YouTube video by Irene Rudnyk shows some examples:
