The 2024-2025 season is now well underway. I would like to welcome all the potential new members who came along to try us out. Here is a list of interesting events that could present photographic opportunities in the next few weeks:

- The Edinburgh Riding of the Marches takes place on Sunday 15th September 2024. A chance to photograph this scenic procession. Click on this link for more details: https://edinburghridingofthemarches.com/home/edinburgh-riding-of-the-marches/
- The Battle of Prestonpans re-enactment takes place on the Green Hills in Prestonpans during the weekend of 21st-22nd September 2024. A good opportunity for period portraits and some historical photography. You can book a ticket in advance or pay at the entrance. - The Musselburgh Communities Day will take place at the Fisherrow Centre at 11am-3pm on Saturday, 28th September 2024. It is likely the club will have a desk. See: https://www.eastlothian.gov.uk/info/210611/musselburgh_area_partnership/12278/musselburgh_area_partnership/4.
- The “Doors Open Days” event take place over the weekend of 28-29th September and provide some opportunities to visit public buildings that are not normally open to the public:
