This coming Thursday, November 3rd, we have our Colour Print Competition, judged by Al Buntin. November 3rd is also the submission date for this year’s Human Portrait print competition. The arrangement is the same as for the colour print competition – please bring up to 3 mounted prints and also send digital JPEG copies of your images to George Todd (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you have prints but can’t make in on Thursday (e.g. if you’re attending the Colin Prior evening at Beeslack) please contact George to arrange an alternative way to drop off your prints.
The human portrait competition is similar to the colour print competition, except that the main subject must be a person or group of people. The competition is not restricted to posed portraits. Street performers, sporting events, people at work, dancers, candid group shots and battle reenactments, etc… are also example themes. Best of luck!
